Cool detail from this episode that might just be my interpretation but I'm almost certain it was the author's intention, I'm pretty sure that Chili's horse growing wings and flying away is supposed to represent the passing of her late mother. Jung associated horses with mothers in dream symbolism, and seeing that scene in this light really moved me.
